On most social apps, what you write disappears. Months later, when you go looking for "where did I write that?" or searching for "how do I do this?", there is nothing solid to find. ulived does the opposite: everything written belongs somewhere. You can look back and remember what you lived and what you saw, and you can learn something new by discovering what other people wrote.

Posts don't stand alone here; they are chapters of a book. Like any book, they get titles, an order, and a table of contents. And long after they were written, they wait on your profile shelf: to be read, to be found, to give someone something to think about.

First you start a book. You pick a theme and the interests that go with it. Then you write into it chapter by chapter: what you lived, what you made, what you found out. Each chapter has its own title, its own date and its own visibility: public, followers only, or entirely private.

You can follow what other people write, leave comments, and show your support with a like.

What you write is yours. Everything you write here is a piece of your own life. You pass on what you know and what you have been through, and you help other people find something new.

Visibility is your call. Share what you write with everyone, with your followers only, or keep it to yourself and let the book be a private journal. Nothing has to be public. You choose separately for every chapter.

The process is worth sharing too. The attempts that didn't work, the projects left half finished, the ideas you later found out were wrong. These are worth writing down too; the real story is usually there. And sometimes a comment from someone reading is what lights the way.

Every book belongs to a theme. The theme sets both the book's color and where it appears in Discover.
